My first Blog for AntlerNIvory Creations

Thank you for visiting my new blog!
Hi! Welcome to my first ever blog post! First to introduce myself. I am Ted( Doc) Parker from AntlerNIvory Etsy shop(https://www.etsy.com/shop/AntlerNIvory?ref=hdr_shop_menu). I have been creating original carvings and scrimshaw on shed deer antler and fossil ivories like fossil walrus ivory teeth. I sell both antler carvings and reproductions made from ivory resin and do a lot of custom creations to meet my customer's needs. I have been a carver/ sculptor for 57 years starting when I was very young carving and whittling wood objects. I was a spokesperson for Sugar Pine Woodcarving Supplies in Lebanon, OR, where I shot instructional videos for woodcarvers, drew pattern sets, and demonstrated carving at trade shows. I became a huge fan of primitive art and sculptures while living in Alaska where I taught college level classes for the University of Alaska, and I have taught carvers of all ages in various venues, and privately. I would like to have you enter and visit my world of carvings and designs and see if you'd like to share in my dreams and  creations. I'd love to hear your thoughts about what I make, or could create especially just for you! Again, Thank-you!
Doc Parker, Sculptor.
